Tuesday, Quarter, Jukebox

Minorthird’s Copycat Monday Quarter-In-The-Jukebox for this week includes a selection of songs from what I would argue as the best consecutive 2 years of pop music output in music history. Oh yes, you know it and I know it. It’s ‘84-’85.

I’ll tell you this as well and I’m not afraid to say it: Solo Tina Turner in the ’80’s kicks the ass of Tina with Ike in the ’70’s. No Tina this week though. OK, on to the hit parade:

Dan Hartman – I Can Dream About You

Christine McVie – Got A Hold On Me

Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton – Islands In The Stream

Mary Jane Girls – In My House

Honeydrippers – Sea Of Love

@neversent Do you think Tim Curry goes to Indian restaurants and orders the 'me?'

It took almost 84 years for Peter Graves to self destruct. #fb

Morning commute = double the time today. Nothing to do but listen to Fleet Foxes loud! #fb
