I don’t think you’re crossing a line at all. Just so you know, though, when she gets a little older, and by older, I mean 7 or 8 (!), companies like Abercrombie & Fitch produce thong underwear for little girls. Terrible. Don’t even get me started on the “message tees” and onesies for baby girls.

Hoochie promoting should definitely start by 6 months if you’re serious about it. I suggest Huggies Thongs for your infants.

Creeped out: Let us not speak of girl’s underwear and how it is needlessly sexed up! What is creepy about drawing attention to the fact that I didn’t know toddler girl underwear came in more than one style? If you’re creeped out, ask Hanes and others why they’re making them or Target why they’re selling them.

What line have I crossed? Most importantly, in talking about said line, can we refer to it as “the panty line?”

Yeah – I’m amazed at some of the clothes that are made for little girls. I wanted to pick up something for my cousin’s daughter who is turning two soon. I was at this store in Canada (R*ots) – it seemed as if all the clothes were these short skirts with halter type tops that I was not really comfortable with – makes me glad that I have a little boy to shop for. (Although, I admit to buying him a onesie that says “Ladies Man”! I couldn’t help it – he’s a little flirt!)
