Monday, Quarter, Jukebox

Minorthird’s Copycat Quarter-In-The-Jukebox:

The Cars – You Are The Girl
With the fantastic video. The world needs more Ric Ocaseks.

Hothouse Flowers – Don’t Go
Nice little live recording at a music store.

The Alan Parsons Project – Don’t Answer Me
A well done video for the time but then they put themselves in it and yeeps! What is that?

Santana – Winning
Video. Why do I enjoy all the sellout tracks from rock’s greatest legends as much as their critically acclaimed stuff? Also, why can my mind not get a handle on dudes with beards who have high voices? They surprise me every time.

Toto – Africa
Not unlike the globe that features heavily in the video, the Toto guy’s face is about as spherical as a person’s face can be. Also, sometimes I fancy myself capable enough to be a rockin’ keyboardist despite my inability to read music or play keyboard. I play all the right notes on the edge of the table. It has to be seen to be believed.
