right?
You’ve got one of those movie rental queue services – Netflix, Blockbuster, or what have you – and you’re getting your three movies out at a time.
So inevitably, you get that movie in the mail that just kind of sits around for a while. That’s right, that one DVD has a case of the queueties.
Sure, it was next on your queue but two months go by and it’s like you might as well be on a two-movie plan because you’re still not feeling up to watching that lingering movie #3.
Of course, after having the thing around for more than a month, you’d think the sensible thing would be to just send it back and move it somewhere lower in your queue so you can get back to having three movies that you want to see at a time. But, no… one month in and it’s like a personal challenge. Two months in and it’s going for a record and you’ve got to see that record through. When will you break down and just “Oh all right! I’ll just watch it!”
Superhot and I had The Power Of One last year for, I’m pretty sure, almost four months. It was just never strong enough against the competition.
