Things I tell the kids about space seem to stick. Watch out for those solar flares!

Send kids outside with a giant box and some markers and they won’t show up again until hours later. The kids apparently pay attention when I’m rambling on about solar flares, black holes, galaxies, and just how big space is. From the look of this space alien, they’re planting their flag firmly in the camp of “We are not alone.”

Harper's 1st Birthday Cake
